The 9220 Series operators are designed to operate vehicular sliding gates weighing up to 2000 Lbs. These operators have a variable speed drive with slow-start / slow-stop circuitry. The mounting pedestal is optional. The heavy-duty mounting pedestal is recommended for gates weighing over 1500 Lbs. and a chain support tray is recommended for gates exceeding 20 feet in length. If a chain support tray is used, the mounting pedestal is required.
