Cypress Computer Systems EXP-2000 SPX Reader Expansion Module


  • Also known as: EXP2000, ZE-EXP2000

    • The EXP-2000 provides additional Door/Panel interface points to most SPX products. The EXP-2000 uses a local RS-485 network through an SPX gateway device. Additional access points can be added as needed.

    The EXP-2000 modules are designed to provide additional reader interface channels to systems utilizing Cypress Suprex devices. Not all Cypress Suprex systems support the use of the EXP-1000 modules.

    The EXP-2000 is a product enhancement that has been added to the Suprex product line and may not be compatible with Suprex products that were purchased prior to May of 2010.    		Features:
    • Reader expansion modules - RS-485 for SPX-7400, SPX-7200, SPX-56XX products
    • Includes remote and central units
    • Supports reader and 2 relays with LED, door hardware and associated I/O
    • 8 - 16 VDC required
    • Durable aluminum housing
    • Overall dimension 4.25 x 3 x .75 (approx).
