CV-500PPK proximity reader is a self-contained unit that provides single door access control for up to 500 users. All programming is done through the keypad, eliminating the need for computers or hand-held programmers. Programming information is held in non-volatile memory. Two relay outputs are provided. Systems status is communicated via a tri-color LED and an audible output. The sealed polycarbonate enclosure is weather resistant. The proximity reader has a read range of up to 6", and may be used with either cards or plastic fobs. For additional security and vandal resistance use CV-500AR- auxiliary stainless steel prox reader. May also be used to provide bi-directional access control.
