The Bosch REG-L1-850XE-01 is a license plate camera with an LED 850nm, 50 mm lens, and SX8 camera in a black finish. The unit delivers advanced license plate capture performance and features a high resolution color overview camera for surrounding area surveillance to identify vehicle model and color.

With an operational range of 68 feet, the REG-D1-850XE-01 delivers high contrast license plate images across the complete spectrum of ambient lighting from total darkness to direct glare from sunlight or vehicle headlights regardless of the prevailing lighting conditions.

The REG-D1-850XE-01 can capture clear plate images from vehicles traveling at speeds of up to 160 km/h (100 mph), making the unit suitable for motorways and highways applications.

The Bosch REG-L1-850XE-01 License Plate Camera with LED (50mm Lens, EIA) is comprised of an integrated panel of IR LEDs and a standard camera (520TVL) and provides the best license plate photos for identifying vehicle model or color. It is appropriate for applications including ANPR, traffic monitoring, border control, parking, security and access control, and post-event investigation due to the IR illumination (850 nm) and ambient rejection technology.

The License Plate Camera can simply interact with third-party ANPR software and is compatible with NVRs and DVRs. Powered by any 12 to 24 VDC or VAC power supply, it is versatile and energy-efficient enough to be used anywhere. The metal casing of the IP66 / NEMA 4-rated camera allows it to function even in adverse weather conditions. The camera is additionally secured against power surges, transient spikes, and reverse voltage.

REG-L1 combines advancements in optics, electronics, IR lighting, and Ambient Rejection Technology to provide continuous, dependable license plate capture in the most demanding environments. With an operational range of up to 25 meters (80 feet), depending on the size of the license plate, the REG-L1 provides number plate images with good contrast over the whole spectrum of ambient lighting conditions, from total darkness to direct glare from sunlight and vehicle headlights.
