Voice Alarm Loudspeaker
Compliant with emergency requirements, the LBC 3482/00 is designed for use in voice alarm systems.
The Horn loudspeaker features built-in protection to ensure that in the case of a fire, damage to the loudspeaker will not cause the linked circuit to fail. In this way, the integrity of the system is maintained, guaranteeing that the loudspeakers in other places can still be used to alert the public. The Horn loudspeaker is equipped with a ceramic terminal block, thermal fuse, and high-temperature, heat-resistant wire.
Provision for installing the optional line/loudspeaker monitoring boards on the interior
Functions
The horn's back cover is composed of self-extinguishing ABS (acc. to class UL 94 V0). The connection cable exits the back cover through a cable gland (PG 13.5) For loop through connection, a second hole is drilled in the back cover (covered as standard supplied)
Accreditations and Approvals
In compliance with IEC 268-5 Power Handling Capacity (PHC) regulations, all Bosch loudspeakers are designed to survive 100 hours of operation at their rated power. The Simulated Acoustical Feedback Exposure (SAFE) test was also developed by Bosch to demonstrate that the components can resist double their rated power for brief durations. This ensures greater dependability under harsh conditions, resulting in greater customer satisfaction, a longer service life, and a significantly reduced risk of failure or performance degradation.
