AV1255AM 1.3 MP Indoor/Outdoor IP MegaDome 2 Day/Night IP Camera

The Arecont Vision AV1255AM 1.3 MP Indoor/Outdoor IP MegaDome 2 Day/Night IP Camera is encased in a die-cast aluminum chassis with a 4 vandal-resistant polycarbonate dome bubble. This lets you to install the camera safely indoors or outdoors while also ensuring uninterrupted surveillance in harsh weather conditions.

The MegaDome 1.3 IP camera is designed to record high-definition color videos with resolution up to 1280 x 1024. With its 1.3 MP CMOS sensor, the camera can capture excellent surveillance images up to 42 fps. Video footage can be stored in either MJPEG or H.264 (MPEG4, Part 10) compression format. The latter uses less network bandwidth and allows for smaller file sizes, without compromising on quality. For efficient data management, you can send videos using up to eight concurrent, non-identical streams with different frame or bit rates, resolutions, and picture quality.

This all-in-one innovative security device features day/night functionality with removable IR filter operation that allows the camera to switch between color and B&W as ambient light changes, ensuring accurate color reproduction in daylight and enhanced B&W images at night.

Lastly, the MegaDome camera Power over Ethernet (PoE) feature transfers both power and data over a single Ethernet network cable, eliminating the need to hard-wire the camera or use a separate power supply.
