American Fibertek RTX487SL RS485/RS422 Data System, One Fiber Rack Card, Single Mode, FC Connectors, 1310nm Tx

The American Fibertek RTX-487SL is a one fiber rack card transmitter with FC connectors. The transmitter is a component of the 487SL series which transmits and receives two channels of RS485 data (2 wire or 4 wire user configurable) or RS422 data or 1 of each over a single singlemode optical fiber. The system is comprised of two transceivers forming a point-to-point communications link. The system is designed to be completely transparent to data protocol. For ease of installation, diagnostic indicators provide a quick visual indication of system status. Rack cards are mounted in the American Fibertek Card Cages: SR-20/2 or SR-20R/1.
