American Fibertek RTX-486SL

The American Fibertek RTX-486SL is a one fiber rack card transmitter with FC connectors. The transmitter is a component of the 486 series which transmit and receives two channels of RS485-2 Wire data over a single singlemode optical fiber.

The system is comprised of transceivers forming a point-to-point or multi-point communications link. The system is designed to be compatible with the Panasonic PS Data protocol including the RJ-12 interface. For ease of installation, diagnostic indicators provide a quick visual indication of system status. Rack cards are mounted in the American Fibertek Card Cages: SR-20/1, SR-20/2 or SR-20R/1.
