American Fibertek MX46FXSLSTPOEPLUS Two Fiber Module Transmitter, Single Mode, FX, ST Connector, POE+

The American Fibertek MX46FXSLSTPOEPLUS is a one fiber module transmitter with an FX fiber port and a singlemode ST connector. The unit transmits and receives (2) copper 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet signals at the RJ45 ports and (1) optical 100 Base-FX over 1 or 2 singlemode fibers. The system is comprised of two units forming a point-to-point communications link.

The MX46FXSLSTPOEPLUS Series sources power to devices from the RJ45 ports over the copper connection. Both RJ45 ports may be used to deliver low power 802.3af (15 watts) or 802.3at (30 watts) to PD powered devices. An external power supply is required.

The system is designed to be completely transparent with auto negotiation features which automatically configures the unit for the correct speed (10/100 Base-T). Auto MDI/MDIX operation eliminates the potential need for crossover cables. Diagnostic indicators provide a quick visual indication of system status.
