American Fibertek MXB-6P-POE Four 10/100Base-TX & Two 1000Base-X SFP Ethernet 6 Port Switch with PoE/PoE+

The American Fibertek MXB-6P-POE Series transmits and receives four copper 10/100 BaseTX Ethernet signals at the RJ45 ports and two 1000 Base-X over copper or fiber.

The MXB-6P-POE series also sources power to devices from the RJ45 ports over the copper connection. All 4 RJ45 ports may be used to deliver DC power (802.3af 15 watts) to PoE devices. Two RJ45 ports may be used to deliver DC power (802.3at 30 watts) to PoE+ devices. An optional external 48V power supply input terminal block is available.

The system is designed to be completely transparent with auto negotiation features which automatically configures the unit for the correct speed (10/100 Base-TX). Auto MDI/MDIX operation eliminates the potential need for crossover cables. Diagnostic indicators provide a quick visual indication of system status.
