The Dual Force 2190/2290 Interconnected Deadbolt/Deadlatch Locksets and the 4300, 4500, and 4900 Series Deadlatches are operated by the innovative adjustable drive mechanism found in the 4600 Heavy Duty Designer Deadlatch Handles.

Function

The 4300, 4500, and 4900 Series Deadlatches are made to be operated in either an upward or downward motion. The 2190/2290 Interconnected Deadbolt/Deadlatch can be upgraded in the field with 4600 Deadlatch Handles. Shipped unassembled but easily reassembled to fit any door swing (MV and MN handle types cannot be re-handed). The escutcheon can be moved farther away from the edge of the door during installation thanks to the innovative adjustable drive mechanism, which offers more clearance. When the lever is actuated, an optional Request-to-Exit (REX) switch can send a signal.
