Adams Rite MS Deadlock Trim Strike in Clear Anodized Finish, 4000-011-628
The 4000-011-628 series MS Deadlock Strike gives strike cutouts in jambs a finished look. As previously stated, the strike cutout on most Adams Rite MS deadlocks can be as simple as a slot in the jamb because they are fitted in metal construction. The 4000 Trim Striking is a straightforward strike plate that can be mortised flush or surface mounted on a wood or metal jamb.
Function: The strike cutout on the majority of Adams Rite MS deadlocks is just a slot in the jamb because they are fitted in aluminum construction. However, many people who specify an MS deadlock add one of these strikes for cosmetic reasons or, in the case of the MS4002, for extra security.
Simple striking plate that can be surface mounted or flush-mortised in hollow metal or wood applications is the 4000 Trim Strike.

MS4002 Strike: This strike plate is comparable to the 4000 and 4001 strike plates, but it is supported by a substantial steel doubler that is intended to stop the forceful entry technique known as "jamb peeling." Available flat for single doors or radiused for pairs of doors, MS4002 Armored Strike fits inside aluminum or other hollow jamb sections with trim face flush and the steel completely hidden. It can also be used with two-point and three-point MS deadlocks, including the hookbolt version in sliding doors where hookbolt use requires a door/jamb gap of 1/8" or less.
Materials: The reinforcing doubler is steel-plated for corrosion resistance, while the trim plate is aluminum. Available in a selection of US3 (605) Bright brass, US26D (626) Satin chrome, 313 Dark bronze anodized, 335 Black anodized, and 628 Clear anodized.
The 4003 ANSI Strike is intended for use with the MS1850SN Deadlock in ANSI applications.

4005 Threshold Strike: Designed for a drop-bolt such as 4015 Threshold Bolt or 4016 Header Bolt in non-metal installations such as wood or concrete.

The 4006 Floor Strike is a trim plate with a dust box added for a strike slot drilled into metal thresholds, similar to the 4001 Box Strike. Made to work with the 1830 Bottom Rail Deadlock.
