The 3080 Series provides outside activation of doors that have any type of Adams Rite Exit Device. Breakaway clutching mechanism protects the locked handle from vandalism or forced entry, in either direction. All models share the same core components, so handles can be changed without having to replace the entire trim. Solid construction meets Grade 1 standards.
For doors equipped with any type of Adams Rite exit mechanism and deadlatch, the 3080 Series Entry Trim offers outside activation. With the use of a breakaway grasping mechanism, the locked handle is guarded against theft and forced entry.
Function: Doors with any form of Adams Rite escape mechanism or deadlatch can be activated from the outside using the 3080 Series. The locked handle is shielded from forceful entrance or vandalism by a breakaway clutching mechanism. Levers can be changed without needing to replace the trim altogether because all models share the same fundamental parts.
When electricity is applied, the 3080E Electrified Entry Trim, a continuous-duty solenoid-operated device, will enable the lever handle to be turned to unlock the exit device. The handle is fixed in place and the escape device is still latching if there is no power input. The entry door, stairwell, and fire door applications for this electric entry trim work with a card reader, keypad, or push button.
Product Note: When a cylinder is necessary for the application, Adams Rite advises using the 3080 and 3080E Series Entry Trim in conjunction with Medeco high security cylinders for maximum security.
