These detectors watch for the hazards that are not burglary, and they report to a PowerMaster panel on the same supervised PowerG link as the intrusion devices, so one system covers both.

Fire cover comes from a photoelectric smoke detector and a combined heat and photoelectric smoke detector, both fully supervised and built with extended battery life for low-cost maintenance. The carbon monoxide detector uses an electrochemical sensor that gives linear output in proportion to CO gas concentration, giving early warning of CO poisoning danger.

Property protection covers a flood detector for basements, yachts and similar spaces with battery life of up to eight years, and a temperature detector that alerts the panel on extreme hot or cold, which matters where cold can freeze pipes and burst them or where a resident is vulnerable to heat.
