An expansion module adds inputs and outputs to a controller that has run out of them, which is the usual reason a working access control installation needs new hardware rather than a replacement panel.

The board listed here is an input and output board for use with the V-XS input and output board. The V-XS itself is a networkable two door controller supplied as a kit with a metal enclosure and lock and a power supply, and it is listed on the main Visonic catalog rather than in this category.
