This is the broadest category in the brand, and it runs across four detection technologies: passive infrared, photoelectric beam, microwave and ultraviolet flame detection.

The infrared side covers ceiling mount indoor sensors described as combining a discreet compact appearance with outstanding performance, Digital-Quad quad element sensors, high ceiling models with a high-density protection area for showrooms, halls and factories, and outdoor sensors offering wide angle, horizontal curtain, vertical curtain and long range patterns from one unit. Pet immune models give up to 180 degrees of coverage across four 12m detectors.

Beams here include the PB-IN-HF line, described as the flagship of the Takex infrared photoelectric beam range and synchronising 16 beam paths between transmitter and receiver, plus anti-crawl versions for high security sites and indoor reflector beams for openings wired at one end only. Point-to-point microwave sensors on K-Band cover 165 feet, and a combination unit puts a quad beam and a microwave sensor in the same housing so both have to agree before it alarms.

Flame sensors detect ultraviolet rays in flames and sound a built-in alarm, automatic door sensors use a 32 zone near infra-red pattern, request to exit sensors cover a doorway threshold, and an anti-masking base unit adds anti-masking to several Takex products.
