Monitored Magnetic Locks

This category holds the SDC Excel E600 magnetic lock, the E6200 indoor/outdoor electromagnetic lock, and E1200 retrofit and installation items.

The E600 has a 600 lb (272 kg) holding force for interior door traffic control where physical attack is not a concern, including traffic control, air-locks, and communicating bathrooms, and its door and lock status outputs support remote monitoring, mantraps, and system application needs. It runs on 12/24VDC, field selectable, drawing 500 mA at 12VDC or 250 mA at 24VDC, with an SPDT door status contact rated 250 mA at 30VDC, an SPDT lock status contact rated 2 amps at 30VDC, a bi-color LED, an instant release anti-residual magnetism circuit, and a 628 clear anodized aluminum finish.

The E6200 is a 1200 lb Grade 1 indoor/outdoor electromagnetic lock with epoxy sealed electronics that are tamper resistant and weatherized, an architectural stainless steel housing in US32/630, a magnetic bond sensor that indicates the door is locked with full holding power, a door status output, and a 10 ft jacketed cable, and it retrofits Securitron M62 and Locknetics 70 locks. The E1200-390MP mounting plate uses the existing mounting plate holes to mount an E1200 Excel lock when retrofitting a Locknetics 390+ series lock, and an E1200 heavy duty drill fixture and an E1200 4-pack are also listed.
