A multi-sensor camera puts four sensors in one housing on one cable and one licence, which is why it replaces four separate cameras on a corner, a junction or an open area.

Panoramic models fix the sensors in a row for a continuous 180, 209 or 220 degree view, listed at 7.3MP from four 2MP sensors and 15MP from four 5MP sensors, both at 30fps.

Multi-directional models let each sensor be aimed independently, covering four separate directions from one mounting point, with sensor modules sold separately at 2MP or 5MP for a total of 8MP to 20MP.
