Thermal Imaging Cameras
A thermal camera detects heat rather than light, so it works in complete darkness, through smoke and against a background that hides a visible camera's subject. Radiometric models also measure temperature, which is how they are used for early fire detection and equipment monitoring.
These are uncooled sensors at 640x480 and 30fps, with fixed focal lenses at 13mm covering 48.6 degrees and 19mm covering 32 degrees, so the narrower lens sees further.
Bodies are outdoor vandal bullets and a thermal positioning camera with 360 degree endless pan and tilt from -90 to 40 degrees for scanning a large site.
