Analog Box Camera

Analog Box Cameras

A box camera has no lens of its own, which is the reason to choose one: the lens is matched to the shot rather than accepted as supplied, and it can be changed later without replacing the camera.

These are listed at 2MP Full HD 30fps and 4MP with 120dB true WDR, in AHD, TVI, CVI and CVBS formats, with RS485 and coaxial control and true day and night switching on 24VAC or 12VDC. The listings state that a CS mount lens of at least the same resolution is required, so a 4MP body needs a 4MP or higher lens to be worth fitting.

A zoom box model with 32X optical zoom is listed for long views where a fixed lens will not reach.

See box camera housings for outdoor positions, or browse the full Samsung by Hanwha catalog. Contact our team with your distance and field of view and we can help with the lens.
