1. Drill a 3/4 inch diameter hole into the frame of your window or door at least 3 inches deep 2. The magnet requires a 3/8 inch diameter, 1/2 inch deep hole in the edge of the door or window 3. There can't be more than a 1/2 inch gap between the sensor and magnet, otherwise the alarm will trigger even when the door is closed
