There are two ways to prevent your L5100 from triggering an audible alarm.
You can disconnect the siren by removing the white-colored chip from the circuit board. (The chip is attached to a yellow, black, and red wire) The issue with this configuration is it will stop your L5100 from making any sounds, whether they be chimes, beeps, or alarms. Programming a "Silent Burglary" zone type is your second option. "Silent Burglary" zones still send alarm signals to central station, but no audible alarms are set off on location. However, this kind of zone program is only compatible with door and window contacts, not entry delays.
