Kantech Biometric Readers

HandKey hand recognition readers identify users by the hand rather than a card. The HandKey CR has 26-bit Wiegand format output and holds up to 512 users; it requires a 16 VAC/DC 40 VA transformer and is for indoor use only. The HandKey II is also listed.

A memory expansion license raises HandKey CR and HandKey II capacity to 9,728 users on units made after 2004, delivered by email. An optional Ethernet board and a reader accessory support HandKey installs, and L1 4G V-Flex biometric readers are listed as well.
