MAXPRO Professional Edition Recorders

PE is the enterprise tier, described as an open, flexible and scalable Enterprise IP video surveillance system utilising Honeywell high definition cameras. It is what gets specified when a site has more cameras than a standard edition box will carry.

Recorders are listed by channel count and by drive array, and the two are ordered together. Channel counts run 32, 48, 64 and 128. Arrays run from four 4-TB SATA drives at the small end up to twelve 12-TB drives, with 8-TB and 10-TB configurations in between, so retention is set at purchase rather than by adding drives later.

Channel upgrade licenses are listed in this category as well, and most of them are written for XE units, so check the license against the edition you have.
