EMX Drive Thru Vehicle Sensor

A loop cut into a drive thru lane means closing the lane while the pavement is cut. This sensor detects the vehicle with no loop in the pavement at all.

The USVD-4X uses patent pending Triangular Planar Array technology to detect the presence of a vehicle, and handles any drive thru operation such as fast food, banking, pharmacies, car washes and parking. For those applications it is much less expensive than traditional vehicle loop detectors, which require the installation of a loop in pavement.

It is simply mounted on a post or order box and aimed at the location where a vehicle would pass to initiate a transaction, with no set-up or adjustments required. Drive thru alert kits pairing it with an audible chime and cable are listed in the main catalog.
