A door holder keeps a self-closing fire or smoke barrier door open during normal use and lets it close when it matters. The 2800 series holds those doors open until a fire alarm, smoke detection or sprinkler system releases them automatically, and they can also be released manually wherever instant closing is required.

Mounting styles cover floor mount for single doors, flush wall mount in standard and extended armature versions and surface wall mount, all in satin aluminum. Replacement door armatures and bases, swivel armature extensions and fixed armature extensions are listed for setting the gap between the holder and the door.
