Access Control Surge Protectors

DITEK access control surge protection covers the door hardware, the card reader, and the low-voltage loops back to the access control panel.

The DTK-ESS protects the sensitive circuitry of electric door strikes and solenoid lock releases at the door and is compact enough to install in a door jamb. The DTK-4LVLPCR card reader surge protector covers power, data, and LED circuits in one compact package, and the DTK-3LVLPX is listed for Wiegand-type card readers. Modular protectors such as the DTK-2MHLP5BWB and DTK-2MHLP12BWB protect two circuit pairs per field-replaceable module, and the DTK-2MHLP12F uses load removal technology for two 12V loop circuits, protecting up to 10 pairs with a common ground on snap-track bases. Telephone entry system protectors and mounting bases from 2 to 10 pairs are also listed.
