Digital Watchdog Switches and Spot Monitors

Two kinds of device sit between the cameras and the screens: the switch that powers and connects them, and the monitor module that shows them without a recorder in the path.

PoE switches are listed at 8 channels with 15.4 watts per port, supporting devices installed up to 320ft using CAT 5. Standard Ethernet reaches about 320ft, so the switch supports the full cable length.

Spot monitoring modules drive a live display from 4 or 16 cameras at up to 5MP, with full screen sequencing and single camera view. A spot monitor displays live cameras where no recording or search is needed.
