Digital Watchdog PTZ Cameras

A PTZ covers a large open area on patrol and then zooms in when something needs identifying. A PTZ dome covers a yard or a parking area and zooms in on demand.

The flagship model listed is a 36x optical zoom PTZ at 3 megapixel with Star-Light Plus low light performance, a 4.6 to 165.6mm lens and triple codecs in H.265, H.264 and MJPEG. True wide dynamic range and true day night are both listed.

The specification that separates it from an ordinary PTZ is 1148ft of infrared. At 36x zoom in darkness the IR has to reach as far as the lens sees.
