How do I connect my smartphone or tablet to the LYNX Touch L5100?

Your L5100 must be outfitted with an internet or cellular communicator so it can work with Honeywell's Total Connect Service.


To qualify for Total Connect, the L5100 IP Communicator and/or a GSMVLP5-4G Cellular Communicator must be installed. After either communicator is in place, you must select a Total Connect service plan and then download the free Total Connect 2.0 application to your smartphone or tablet. Once these steps are complete, you will be able to control your L5100 using your smartphone or tablet. Total Connect gives you the ability to arm/disarm the system remotely, watch live video feeds from home security cameras, and even receive periodic text and email alerts about your system.
