What is the best wireless detector to use with my Honeywell Security System?

The 5800CO wireless carbon monoxide detector is a great choice for Honeywell Control Panels.

The 5800CO is a wireless, battery-powered detector which uses an electro-chemical sensor to monitor levels of carbon monoxide in the air. The device is instantly compatible with Lynx Series Panels, like the LYNX Touch L5100. Once the detector has been mounted and programmed to a specific zone on the L5100, it will begin to communicate wirelessly with the control panel. On the other hand, for Vista Series Panels, like the Vista 20P, a wireless receiver must be installed in order for the panel to communicate with the 5800CO detector.

The NFPA (National Fire Protection Agency) suggests installing carbon monoxide detectors within 10 feet of every sleeping area, in every room where a fuel-burning appliance is present, and on every inhabited level of the home or commercial facility (excluding attics and crawl spaces).
