Is there a warm-up period for my Macurco gas detector?

Yes, all Macurco gas detectors perform a warm-up cycle that lasts between 1 and 3 minutes.
During the warm-up cycle, LED indicators will blink. The alarm will be hindered during this process. When the green LED light stays on, it means the device has finishing warming up and is now fully operational. On a side note, all Macurco gas detectors take approximately 24 hours to acclimate to a new atmosphere upon installation.
