Adams Rite flush bolts secure the inactive leaf of paired doors while giving building management key control that prevents casual locking by unauthorized people, and Adams Rite flush locksets handle sliding doors that pass other units. Both fit narrow-stile aluminum, hollow metal, and wood doors, with a rigid aluminum construction and clean finishes suited to commercial openings.
Cylinder-Operated Flush Bolts
Cylinder-operated flush bolts replace flip-lever flushbolts and add key control, so the inactive leaf cannot be locked casually. The 1870 Series fits narrow-stile aluminum paired doors, the 1870HM serves paired hollow metal doors, and the 1877 is built for paired wood doors. On each, the key can only be removed when the bolt is fully in the locked or unlocked position, and the bolt can be set to lock at a chosen header or threshold point during installation.
Two-Point Flush Bolts
Two-point flush bolts lock the inactive leaf at both the header and threshold in a single operation, working with any Adams Rite MS pivoting deadlock. The MS1880 requires the inactive leaf to be secured before the deadlock key can be turned, reducing accidental lockouts, and offers header or threshold bolts with turn-lever or indicator options. The MS2180 auto-release two-point flush bolt secures paired narrow-stile aluminum doors with a 120-degree knob turn and releases the entire opening in one motion when the knob is returned.
Flush Locksets for Sliding Doors
Flush locksets let a sliding door pass other units while staying secure. The 4189 and 4190 use a sliding button and suit aluminum and hollow metal sliding doors, with zinc alloy escutcheons in a satin finish, though they are not recommended for wood doors. The all-metal 4430 and 4431 match the 4189 and 4190 in function and size but use ABS resin escutcheons in a polished black coating, and pair with the Adams Rite MS1847 deadlock.
