The Schlage M490DEP-2 Magnetic Lock offers a reliable and secure double door solution with a 1500 lb. rated hold force, and the bayonet mounting design eliminates the need to hold the lock overhead while securing. This “Plus" model provides integration with access control systems, plus intelligent sensing and reporting features such as a magnetic bond sensor (MBS), adjustable relock time delay (RTD) and door position switch (DPS). Factory configured with a 30-second delay and UL 10C listed for positive pressure fire tests of door assemblies, the M490DEP-2 is ANSI/BHMA 156.24 compliant with a plunger switch and external switch input, authorized release input, on-board audible alarm and bi-color LED, fire alarm terminals and optional ATS/LED combining anti-tamper switch and LED visual status indicator. The aluminum housing is finished in BHMA 628 satin finish, and the lock is powered by auto selected 12/24 VDC with a limited lifetime warranty on the magnetic coil assembly. This security solution is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from 0° to 49°C (32° to 120° F).
