Featuring a 90dBA piezo horn, a non-latching circuit Y, a pulsing LED sensing chamber, and an LED condition indicator, the Gentex 8240PTY smoke detector is covered by a 24 month warranty from the date of purchase.
The 8240PTY comes outfitted with Form A/C contacts, a three position test switch, and an insect-proof screen. Boasting 2.5% sensitivity and a 5 to 1 signal to noise ratio, the Gentex 8240PTY has a latching alarm circuit requiring manual restoration.
