Edwards Signaling 2459-SMB-R Surface mount back box for use with 2400 Series Notification appliances.

Use the waterproof back box from Edwards SignalingTM to surface mount fire alarm equipment outside. The tough plastic housing has a surface that is slightly textured and is composed of high-impact, fire-resistant plastic. Utilizes Nos. G3854, 5KDF9, and 5KDG0, each of which are supplied individually.

To inform occupants of a life safety event, Integrity temporal horns and temporal horn-strobes are specially created for use with compatible life safety communication and control systems. Over moderate background noise, the horn's piercing low frequency sound is audible. Almost anywhere in the room, hallway, or huge open space can see the flash from its strobe.

The robust plastic housing for Integrity is constructed from tough, fire-resistant, high impact polycarbonate with a softly textured surface. With just one screw, its clever mounting plate firmly secures the device. No additional trim plate is needed. Wire up to #12 AWG (2.5mm2) can be connected using polarized terminals.

Standard "FIRE" lens marks in the form of wall mounts are included with strobes. Edwards provides extra 2440KTW and 2440KTC series Lens Marking Kits when ceiling orientation, other languages, or different lens markings are necessary. These add-on lens markings for the strobe are easily attached. Regarding the availability of unique lens marks, contact Edwards.

Integrity horns and horn-strobes must be coupled to signal circuits that output a constant (not pulsed) voltage because they are intended for 16 to 33 Vdc operation. To enable complete signal circuit supervision, a diode is utilized.
