The Fireray5000-UL Linear Smoke Detector covers distances between 26.25 ft and 330 ft (8 m and 100 m). A reflective prism permits the precise identification of smoke particles within a specified distance range. One prism is sufficient for ranges between 26.25 feet and 164 feet (8 meters and 50 meters). Four prisms are needed for ranges between 164 feet and 330 feet (50 meters and 100 meters). The FRay5000-LR-Kit Long Range Kit has the additional prisms. Large halls, such as those found in historical buildings, cathedrals, museums, retail centers, industry halls, and warehouses, are key application areas. In areas where point-type detectors are ineffective, the Fireray5000-UL Linear Smoke Detector can be utilized. One additional FRAY5000-HEADUL Detector Head may be added to the Fireray5000-UL Linear Smoke Detector. The system controller is able to operate two detectors. Each head can be independently programmed.
