The Arecont Vision AV2155DN 2 Megapixel MegaDome H.264 IP Day/Night Camera is an IP66 security device which, thanks to a durably constructed dome enclosure can be installed indoors or outdoors. Wherever it is installed it will remain safe from weather and vandalism. The camera has a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels and a maximum frame rate of 32 frames per second.

With a 1/2" CMOS sensor and a minimum illumination requirement of 0.1 lux, it provides clear images even in low light conditions. You can program the 4.5-10mm IR corrected camera lens to get a variety of lower resolution images too.

The color camera offers full motion high definition progressive scan digital video across local area networks. The camera's day/night function enhances image brightness and sharpness during nighttime hours and in low light conditions. Power to the camera is supplied through Power over Ethernet, which is convenient for those installing it since there is no requirement for extra wiring and power outlets.

The camera's motion detection feature compares the current frame with a pre-determined frame to accurately trigger an alarm if motion is detected, which provides up to 64 motion detection specified zones. This 4 polycarbonate dome bubble housing can be readily installed on the surface of a wall or ceiling. This makes the Arecont Vision AV2155DN flexible in its final resting place. The camera is FCC Part 15, Class B, and CE compliant.
