Adams Rite provides lock cylinders that are made with a high degree of precision, with the setscrew grooves and cam meticulously aligned to ensure good matching with the lock or latch mechanism. Any Adams Rite lock or latch that needs a mortise cylinder is operated by these cylinders. They are made to take common mortise cylinders from all well-known manufacturers.

There are keyed-alike pairs, keyed-different, and keyed-alike sets of 50 cylinders available. Two keys are provided for each cylinder.

The cylinder comes with a mortise cylinder trim ring that is 1/4" thick and ideal for 1-3/4" doors. Special orders can be made to meet different door thicknesses.

To prevent forced access by removing the cylinder, a vandal-proof cylinder guard made of hardened steel is available. It spins around the cylinder when inserted correctly, and a steel ring on the inside of the stile holds it in place.

Please be aware that every narrow stile door needs a cylinder guard to close the space left by a standard mortise cylinder between the cylinder shoulder and style. Please use the Adams Rite formulas to calculate the ideal length of 1.71" I.D. tubing for this application.
