Adams Rite 2331-121 DEADLOCK
For heavy-duty hollow metal or wood applications, the 2331 Heavy Duty Deadbolt offers a heavy-duty deadbolt lock that expands into the strike.
Function: The 2331 Heavy Duty Deadbolt secures hollow metal or wood sliding doors by expanding two stainless steel dogs after throwing a large brass bolt into its strike. The bolt can be expanded or contracted with just one key turn. No latch action is present.
The bolt can be extended and projected or retracted and withdrawn by turning the key or thumb-turn 360 degrees. The bolt must be fully retracted or positively locked before the key can be removed. Any common 1" (25.4" mm) length, 1-5/32" (29.4 mm) diameter mortise cylinder, or thumb turn with specific cam specifications are accepted by the lock. The cylinder might come from either side or both.
Only 1-3/4" [44.5 mm] for the cylinder backset.
Case: The dimensions of this item are 7/8" x 3-5/8" x 2-5/8" deep (22.2 mm x 92.1 mm x 66.7 mm). alloy of zinc.
Bolt: Brass with stainless steel dogs. It measures 1/2" x 1-1/2" [12.7 mm x 38.1 mm] with 3/4" [19.1 mm] of horizontal throw and 11/32" [8.7 mm] of expansion above and below the main bolt.
Strike: 5/8" x 1-5/8" [15.9 mm x 41.3 mm] with a 1/8" x 1" x 4-11/16" [3.2 mm x 25.4 mm x 119.1 mm] aperture. Four-screw mounting in brass. The Trim and faceplate have the same finish.
1" x 5-3/4" [25.4 mm x 146.1 mm] flat brass faceplate; this is the size of an armored faceplate. several finishes are available.
