The warranty stipulates that the device will function properly as long as the GD-6 is adequately maintained in accordance with Macurco standards for two years following the date of manufacture. The date of manufacture is printed on the inside cover of your GD-6 detector. Should it become defective during its first two years of use, the device will be replaced or repaired without any cost incurred by the user. However, Macurco is not responsible for repairing or replacing any device that becomes defective after the warranty period subsides. Devices that have been accidentally or purposely damaged, or that have been repaired by customers, are not eligible for repair or replacement.
