The override key for the E985-R should be kept either on your person or in a safe place that only you can access.

Some users prefer to keep the override key on their key ring. Others who want to cut down on clutter, store their keys in a Lockey Key Box. The Key Box is a combination-locked stainless steel safe for your keys. It's a secure place to store your keys, and, like other Lockey products, is opened by entering a code into the mechanical keypad.

What is a key override?
Some of Lockey's keyless locks come outfitted with both a push button keypad and a traditional keyhole. This gives users two ways to lock and unlock doors, and is commonly used by landlords and business owners.
