Does the E985-R glow in the dark?

Yes, the E985-R lights up in the dark.

In fact, all Lockey E-Digital Series Locks do. These battery-powered locks have LED keypads that are easy to operate, even in the dark.

Why don't other Lockey locks light up in the dark?
The reason is other Lockey Locks are completely mechanical. They don't run off any power source and, therefore, would be unable to provide electricity to LED lights on the keypad. Unlike the E-Digital Series, other Lockey Keyless locks, use analog tumblers to create combination codes.
