If you delete all user codes from the E985-R, will the door still lock?

No. When all user codes are erased from the E985-R's programming menu, the lock will no longer engage automatically or with the keypad.


As a safety feature, when there are no user codes programmed into the E985-R, the door can only be locked/unlocked with a traditional key.

For those who have yet to delete all their user codes from their E985-R, but want to know how, instructions are listed below:

1. Enter the programming code.
2. Push the "E-Digital" Button.
3. Press the number (3).
4. Push the "E-Digital" Button.
