Follow these instructions to change the handling of the E-985R Electronic Lever Lock.

1. Unlock the lever handles on either side.
2. With the pin wrench that came with the lock, insert it into the small hole on the lever neck. Push in to trip the catch and release the lever handles from their corresponding stems.
3. Swap the positions of the inside and outside lever handles (one is left handed, the other right handed).
4. Extract the lever cylinder and reinsert it into the other lever.
5. Align with the catch when installing the levers into their new positions.
6. Test the lever handles to ensure proper functionality.

Lockey Keyless Locks come equipped with this same changeable handling feature. It makes installation easier because the locks can quickly adapt to both right and left hand doors.
