Is there a way to restore the E985-R Lever Lock back to its factory settings?

Last Updated: 12/13/2013
Yes. To restore the E985-R Lever Lock back to its factory settings, simply press the "R" button located inside the receiver module.

Hold the "R" button down for 5 seconds. When you hear three beeps, then you know the lock has been properly restored.

When an E-Digital Series Lock is restored to factory settings...
all user codes will be deleted and replaced by a default user code (1234) and a default programming code (0000). The system restore (R) button is most commonly used by people who forget their user code. After restoring your E-Digital lock, make sure to reset the programming code and user codes.
