Will Z-Wave devices interfere with other wireless devices in my home?

Last Updated: 11/11/2013
Most likely, no.

Z-Wave devices run on a 900 Mhz frequency that is far lower than most other radio frequency devices. The only wireless device in your home that could receive interference would be a cordless phone. However, with the advent of cellular technology, cordless phones are becoming less and less common.

Honeywell offers a number of products that can control Z-Wave devices.  The Tuxedo Touch Keypad can control Z-Wave lights, locks, thermostats, and other devices.  The L5100 Lynx Touch is a control panel, keypad, and Z-wave device controller all-in-one.
