MAGNASPHERE Security Contacts
Enhance security for safes, vaults, and other high-security applications with MAGNASPHERE security contacts. These security contacts are tested to 9th edition UL634, a higher standard for all switches and connectors used in alarm systems. Today, a triple-balanced BMS magnetic contacts can still be disabled with a simple magnetic defeat done internally or externally. In 2007, products tested to the 9th edition eliminated the previous BMS high-security categories. These products are highly resistant to outsider magnetic defeat, permanent contact welding while being virtually unbreakable due to MAGNASPHERE technology. Many models have versatile mounting options and levels of security. Top security professionals believe insider threats from employees who were deemed trustworthy profoundly impacts government and corporate security. In response to that, MAGNASPHERE created a series of high-security contacts with an even higher level of contacts.
Our range of MAGNASPHERE includes the following high-security contacts:
- MSS' MSS' Standard'' Series UL-634 - In this series, find MSS contacts in different electrical configurations such as the traditional Closed Loop (when a nearby magnet closes the contact) and a more Secure Open Loop (when a nearby magnet opens the contact). These electrical configurations are often recommended by top security experts and are similar to the ones used for other life safety devices such as smoke and fire alarms.
- MSS Multi-Switch Series UL-634 - demanded by the US government, MAGNASPHERE also created a 1-inch concealed and a surface mount model with multiple switch contacts for non-high security installations. This is suitable for facilities where single contact is desired for use with multiple independent systems (e.g., Intrusion Detection and Access Control) and home automation applications. Each model is made with MAGNASPHERE BMS switch technology in two and three contact configurations and comes with both Open and Closed Loop variations, based on installation requirements.
- HS Series UL-634 Level 1 - consists of single and dual alarm contacts that are ideal for safes, vaults and other high-security applications. They are cost-competitive and have been tested to 9th edition UL 634 Level 1 high security (both in-swing and out-swing doors) and more secure than "grandfathered" Level 1 reed switch-based contacts.
- HSS Series UL-634 Level 2 - offers vastly increased security of single and dual alarm contacts, available as surface mount or for concealed security sensors. All contacts in this series are listed to UL634 Level 2 High-Security Standard and feature embedded EOL resistors to reduce cost on labor installation. These are suitable for secure high-level applications.
When it comes to protecting doors in access or security applications, MAGNASPHERE HSS series' L2S, L2D and L2C UL- 634 level 2 listed high-security sensors are the standards for SCIF protection. SCIF stands for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities. SCIF may include military, government, aviation, cannabis or pharmaceutical facilities. SCIF are required to follow the standards outlined in ICD 705, a three-page capstone document that implements the intelligence community standard. Therefore, if you're looking for the most secure door contact technology in the world, go with the American based company MAGNASPHERE with award winning patented technology.
