The Fire-Lite ES-200X is an intelligent addressable fire alarm control panel (FACP) designed to manage fire detection, emergency notification, and central station alarm communication in commercial and institutional buildings. Part of the Fire-Lite Endurance Series by Honeywell, the ES-200X provides 198 addressable device points consisting of 99 detectors and 99 modules across a single signaling line circuit (SLC). The panel supports 99 programmable software zones, allowing installers to organize smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual pull stations, waterflow switches, supervisory devices, and control modules according to building protection requirements. Designed as a direct replacement for the Fire-Lite MS-9200UDLS, the ES-200X incorporates a preinstalled IPOTS-COM dual-technology communicator supporting Ethernet/IP and traditional telephone-line (POTS) reporting to compatible central monitoring stations. Its integrated 80-character backlit LCD, alphanumeric programming keypad, and dedicated system controls provide local access to alarm conditions, device status, programming functions, and maintenance information.

The ES-200X features one intelligent signaling line circuit supporting Class A or Class B wiring configurations and communicates with compatible addressable devices using Fire-Lite's LiteSpeed and CLIP polling protocols. In LiteSpeed mode, the SLC supports wiring distances of up to 10,000 feet (3,000 meters) with appropriately installed twisted, unshielded conductors. The control panel includes four independently programmable notification appliance circuits (NACs) configurable for Class A or Class B operation, with selectable continuous, March Time, temporal, and California-coded notification patterns. Integrated synchronization supports compatible System Sensor, Wheelock, and Gentex horns and strobes. Each NAC supports up to 2.5 amps of special-application signaling current, subject to the panel's 2.7-amp shared 24 VDC system power limit for notification circuits and ANN-BUS devices. The panel also includes two programmable Form-C relays and one fixed trouble relay, each rated for 2 amps at 30 VDC or 0.5 amps at 30 VAC, supporting integration with compatible auxiliary equipment and building safety systems.

The Fire-Lite ES-200X incorporates automatic device programming, intelligent detector sensitivity monitoring, alarm verification, and a 1,000-event history log to simplify system commissioning, inspection, and troubleshooting. Its learn-mode programming automatically identifies connected addressable devices and reports duplicate device addresses, while programmable point descriptions provide detailed identification of alarms and trouble conditions. Additional features include Positive Alarm Sequence (PAS), pre-signal operation, waterflow monitoring, automatic detector sensitivity testing, maintenance alerts, and one-person audible or silent walk testing. The panel supports up to 16 compatible ANN-BUS annunciation devices across two ANN-BUS circuits, with a maximum of eight devices per bus, including ANN-80 remote LCD annunciators, ANN-LED zone indicators, ANN-RLY relay modules, and ANN-S/PG printer interfaces. Programming and system data can be uploaded or downloaded using the optional FS-Tools programming utility through USB or supported Ethernet connections. The preinstalled IPOTS-COM communicator provides IP and telephone-based alarm transmission, while compatible optional cellular communicators can provide additional reporting configurations through Honeywell AlarmNet.

The Fire-Lite ES-200X operates from an automatically selected 120 or 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz primary power source and includes an integral battery charger supporting 7-18 Ah sealed lead-acid standby batteries. The metal cabinet accommodates two 12 V batteries rated up to 18 Ah each and measures approximately 19 inches high, 16.65 inches wide, and 5.25 inches deep. Compatible addressable devices include Fire-Lite SD365 Series smoke detectors, H365 Series heat detectors, SD365CO multi-criteria smoke/heat/carbon monoxide detectors, BG-12LX addressable pull stations, and supported monitor and control modules. The system also supports compatible SWIFT wireless fire detection devices through an appropriate wireless gateway and can interface with Fire-Lite ECC-50/100 emergency communication equipment. The ES-200X is UL 864 Listed, 10th Edition, and FM Approved, with applicable California State Fire Marshal and FDNY approvals. Its combination of addressable detection, four programmable notification circuits, integrated IP/POTS communication, expandable remote annunciation, and intelligent maintenance capabilities makes it suitable for offices, schools, retail facilities, warehouses, and other commercial properties requiring a scalable fire alarm system compliant with applicable NFPA 72 requirements.
