The 302 series are rate compensation type heat detectors designed for use in normal indoor environments as well as outdoor and hazardous locations. They are normally open contact devices designed to close upon activation.
Indoor box mounting, 194 F UL rated, -40 F minimum ambient, 150 F maximum ceiling, 4.25 in L x 1 in base diameter, 302 Series Heat Detector (Rate Compensation), 6-125VAC/6-25VDC/125VDC. Heat detectors from the Edwards Series 302 302-EPM-194 are appropriate for use in both indoor and outdoor settings as well as explosive atmospheres. They are normally-open components intended to shut a circuit when activated. Each model has rate adjustment and comes with ratings for 135 F (57.2 C) or 194 F (90 C). These hermetically sealed, self-restoring detectors are impervious to shock, corrosion, and tampering.
